Week Four
Welcome welcome back! Who's ready for an update??
Okay, so, I have reached the infamous stage in composing where I am debating continuing this piece or trashing the whole thing and starting over. Not only composers but also all musicians have to be extremely critical of themselves and what we do, more times than few, you will find the musicians tend to be extreme perfectionists.
I've been listening, and listening, and listening, and listening to my composition trying to find the imperfections and the wrong rhythms and anything else that could be changed in order to make this piece as good as it can be. On top of this, I have also been adding more layers to different sections of the composition, and for those of you who have been following this project, I've conjured up something quite exciting! If you want to see, well I guess hear this then come to the concert on June 4th!!
Also, I have officially opened requests to be part of the performance! If you are a high school or middle school student, please contact me and I will see where I can use you. Please include what you play, your grade, name, and if you can read music. I'm very excited to start rehearsals and lessons.
